Pop star Halsey, known for her collab with The Chainsmokers, “Closer,” and so many more hit songs is setting the record straight after getting backlash for posing in Playboy‘s Music Issue.

On the September 2017 cover, Halsey is rocking pink hair and a sheer top, giving herself bunny ears — and we’re not gonna lie — she’s looking mighty fine. The iconic magazine no longer publishes completely nude photos, and has always shot its photos in taste. Over the years, strong female musicians like Madonna, Mariah Carey, Ginger Spice, and Azealia Banks have graced the cover, and female electronic acts like Krewella and Mija have gotten the Playboy treatment with articles focused around their music ventures.

As Halsey shared the exciting news of her accomplishment, some people didn’t take to it so well…

“You are a feminist but you flash boobs in Playboy magazine,” one dude wrote, topping off his comment with a “thinking face” emoji.

But, Halsey was quick to fire back in the most perfect way: “yeah it’s crazy. I can show my tits in Playboy, perform at the Nobel Peace, speak at the Planned Parenthood Gala with Hilary Clinton, shake my ass on 300 stages, give a speech at the United Nations, do 150 shots of tequila, get a #1 album, and march the streets of DC all in just ONE year!!!! Newsflash. A woman can be multi dimensional.”

She ended it with #WeAreNotJustOneThing.
