Once every few years xxyyxx will pop in with new music to bless our ears. This is one of those years. After a long hiatus of five years since his debut album and two since his last single, he’s come back around with new single “I Don’t.”
As always, his mesmerizing production level helps carry this visceral trap record. The hazy atmosphere and dark textures bring $K’s raw lyrics to life. There’s a certain level of hedonism in this song that we haven’t heard from xxyyxx before which only speaks to the artist’s huge maturation since his hiatus.
