Well, iOS 11 isn’t all bad. Despite thousands of users reporting difficulties with the new upgrade, the Apple OS will be receiving a new batch of 56 emojis so that you can more accurately express your feelings through static, animated characters. Exactly what we need in 2017, right?
Thirty or so of the emojis were teased back in July by Apple CEO Tim Cook. Included in the new emojis is a greater emphasis on diversity, including more skin tones for emojis as well as apparently some gender-neutral emojis. Other emojis will include a hedgehog, a carton of Chinese takeout, a giraffe, fairy, dinosaur, broccoli, sled, a scarf and vampire.
The emojis will be available on iPhone and iPad via iOS 11.1 next Friday, said Apple.
