BPM Festival has announced some huge location changes for its future events…
The international destination will not be returning to Mexico, “due to instability in the region.” It’s a chilling reminder of the shooting that took place during BPM festivities last year, which left two security guards and three festival attendees dead.
BPM Festival vows to move forward as its organizers work diligently and scout new locations to “bring you the best BPM experience in stunning locations across the world,” according to an official statement via Facebook.
In 2018, BPM will return to the beautiful beachside towns of Portimão and Lago in Portugal. Plus, the event promises to bring the festival to a new beach location in early 2019.
BPM Festival Update

We are super excited to announce that we will be returning to the beautiful beachside towns of Portimão and Lagoa in Portugal for September 2018. Stay tuned for dates and more exciting news!
For so many of you who have been asking, due to instability in the region we will not be returning to Mexico. We have been working diligently and scouting new locations so we can bring you the best BPM experience in stunning locations across the world. We are also already in the planning stages to bring The BPM Festival to a new beach location in January 2019.
In the meantime, keep dancing and smiling on the dancefloor! Music unites us all and we look forward to creating more magical moments with you in the future.
