The Federal Empire Releases New Song “Perfect Strangers”

I’m starting to really love that pop musicians are incorporating more EDM into their sounds… or is it EDM producers who are getting more pop vocalists involved? Honestly, it’s probably a little bit of both, but I love it nonetheless.

You might recognize The Federal Empire from their feature on “Hold On & Believe” by Martin Garrix, released last year during the annual Amsterdam Dance Event. What might surprise you is that The Federal Empire is made up of Chad Wolf, of Carolina Liar, and McKay Stevens, who’s a Grammy nominated songwriter. Together, it’s no wonder their productions have the luster that they do.

They just released their newest single “Perfect Strangers” and it perfectly exemplifies their pop/EDM crossover sound. Wolf still does the vocals, and if you ever listened to Carolina Liar you’ll pick it up immediately. On the production side, it’s poppy and simplistic with a catchy guitar riff that will worm its way into your head and stay there for days.

Even “perfect strangers” couldn’t resist dancing together to this! Check it out below.
