Lazy Rich has officially announced his decision to retire from DJing at the end of the year, as gigs have apparently “just dried up.”
The music producer known for tracks like “Brainfreeze” and “Insomnia” will be deeply missed by fans and other artists alike.
Lazy Rich is also a co-founder of Big Fish Recordings, CEO of Label Engine, and CTO of Create Music — so there’s enough on his plate to keep him deeply involved in the music industry even without playing any shows. Also considering he has a wife and a “kiddo,” his extra time off from touring will be will spent with family.
In a recent tweet, Lazy Rich kept his retirement announce short and to-the-point: “Going to officially retire at the end of the year. If anyone wants to book my last ever gig, I’m available for NYE.”
Best of luck to Lazy Rich with future endeavors! Thanks for the music!
