2017 Top 10 Albums: #10-6

At the beginning of this year, I wasn’t sure what the album landscape was going to look like. Compared to the trifecta of 2014, 2015, and 2016, 2017 wasn’t looking to measure up. And then, seemingly out of nowhere, one by one… all these incredible albums started popping up.

I usually try to keep track as best I can of all the electronic albums coming out in a year, and by my count there are at least 100 this year of worth. (That means that I’ve probably also missed at least another 100 that either didn’t fit my genre tastes or just flew under the radar.) From Robin Schulz to Pierce Fulton to Walker & Royce to Troyboi, Tokimonsta, Paul van Dyk, RAC, Calibre, Barclay Crenshaw, ATB, Asa, Code: Pandorum, Four Tet, Gladkill, Gorillaz, and way, way more, each of these albums represented a moment in time for that artist.

These are our picks for the Top 10 albums of 2017… #10-6.

We will continue to drop one album per day until we reach our #1 album of 2017 so keep your eyes on our Twitter as the come along!

10. Bonobo – Migration

9. Kaskade – Kaskade Christmas

8. FKJ – French Kiwi Juice

7. Odesza – A Moment Apart

6. Oliver – Full Circle
