Opiuo Brings Experimental Bass To New Heights With “Botrok”

Anyone claiming electronic music is stagnate clearly isn’t listening hard enough. Opiuo is breaking the mold in a dark new area of experimental bass music in “Botrok” a brooding, midtempo track that you can’t help but groove to. With dark basslines and bitcrushed percussive elements, tracks like this  really show where this style of bass music is going. When you have acts like Drezo, Rezz, K?d, and Opiuo all pushing the boundaries of dark bass, its easy to tell that there is so much more that can be done with bass than forcing the heaviest drops imaginable.
