Normally known for their massive bass hits on labels like Buygore and Dim Mak, duo Styles&Complete pull a complete 180 with their new song “Wave$” in addition to announcing their very own new label, Metta Records.
“Wave$” is a comparatively much more mellow and melodic piece of music than what you’d expect from S&C, though they pull it off brilliantly. With help from Duncan Davis on vocals, the track naturally ebbs and flows like its namesake.
Of the track, S&C remark, “It’s one of those tracks that we can remember every piece of the creation process. We don’t think we’ve ever written something I’ve felt so passionate and right about.”
“It’s a track I really enjoyed making and putting part of my soul into,” said Davis. “Every time I play it, It gives me peace. That’s how I knew this was a special track.”
