Mija is begging to be acknowledged with her latest, “Notice Me.”
Her production goes far beyond what anyone could expect or anticipate, because the track doesn’t follow trends or classify as a particular genre. It doesn’t follow made up rules and it certainly doesn’t have a “drop.” This is genuine, authentic, and good down to the last note.
This is 100% the real Mija that we’re hearing — and it’s beautiful.
There’s something special about “Notice Me” that, to be honest, simply can’t be described through words. Through her thoughtfully written sounds and lyrics, Mija harnesses feelings instead. “Notice Me” is vulnerable and affectionate — a raw, emotional music experience.
Mija shares her own thoughts on the track: funny thing is… you only noticed me when i stopped caring. this song is about the feedback loop inside ur head, consuming all of ur attention. and the release of all the fucks u never should have given in the first place.
How To Measure The Distance Between Lovers, Mija’s debut EP, is due out via self-release on Feb 9th. Get ready for more where this came from.
To Mija — just know you are most definitely noticed.
