Our focus is clearly EDM, but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate some great artistry when we hear it. Especially coming from greats like Lorde and Kayne West.
The songstress, known for her electronic-infused productions, covers Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown” to perfection in the video below. It’s just her and the mic as she busts into a beautiful version of the track, demonstrating just how powerfully her voice carries.
Her a cappella version of the song was well received by fans in Kanye’s hometown of Chicago during her concert, as heard in the video. She also reportedly put her spin on another one of the rapper’s greatest tracks, “Runaway,” as she wove it into her own ballad “Liability.” 
Needless to say, Lorde is a huge fan of Kanye West! Just watch!
