One of A$AP Rocky‘s fans could find herself behind bars after threatening to blow up the Swedish embassy. Like much of his loyal following — Rebecca Kanter wants to see the hip hop star released from jail — but she took things way too far.
She reportedly stormed into the government building last Tuesday and threatened to “blow this motherf**ker up.” Kanter proceeded to kick furniture and scream obscenities at the staff. She also sprayed liquid out of a Coca Cola bottle. Then, bounced out before authorities arrived on scene.
She didn’t stop there. Back for round two the very next day, Kanter was spotted at the House of Sweden, again “cursing and screaming” at staff and referencing Rocky during her rampage. She was advised by security guards to leave, but refused.
“Call the police, I’m not leaving,” she said.
You can probably guess what happened next — Secret Service members showed up and arrested her on site.
She followed up with a post on social media, “Why isn’t it breaking news that I defiled the House of Sweden last night, that I vandalized the World Bank, that I vandalized the IMF … why aren’t I getting press for ASAP.”
Kanter is currently out on bail, but faces charges for damaging property of a foreign government and refusing to depart a foreign embassy. She awaits her preliminary hearing scheduled for July 31.
A$AP Rocky’s incarceration has been making headlines across the world. He was officially charged with assault last week, following a street fight in Stockholm that took place earlier this month.
An entire #FreeRocky movement started up, backed by pleas from A-list influencers to release the rapper. Even President Donald Trump attempted to sweet talk Rocky out of jail, to no avail.
