A$AP Rocky is maintaining his innocence. The hip hop star just plead not guilty in the assault case against him.

A trial started up today (Tuesday, July 30) in connection with a street fight that occurred Stockholm early this month. The Stockholm District Court now hosts the trial in a projected three-day run — it could take less.

The facility has been secured with limited photo and video due to high media interest. However, some tweets from the day in court have revealed the happenings along with the presence of two new witnesses that could turn the case around for Rocky and his friends.

Plenty of video footage surfaced of the incident, during which Rocky and his crew come off as the peacemakers through much of the initial conflict. Two strangers were following Rocky’s crew around and one reportedly broke a pair of headphones when striking his bodyguard over the head.

Rocky and his posse hit their breaking point after a woman accused the same random men of groping her and her friend. Ultimately, Rocky and two of his friends attacked. The rapper was incarcerated and faces up to two years.
