Even though Fyre Festival was a massive flop, Ja Rule is looking to get back into the game.
He appeared as a guest on The Wendy Williams Show recently, where even the toughest subjects weren’t off limits. The host couldn’t help but address Fyre Festival and Ja was prepared to answer. Ja admitted on the show that Fyre was a “dope idea” and he’s interested in throwing another event with the right partners.
He said: “If it had went off without a hitch, everybody would have said, ‘Oh, look at this great thing that they did.’ Not, ‘Ja Rule thought of it, came to them with the great idea, and they funded it.’ … As soon as it blow up, ‘Look what Ja Rule did.’ How does that work?”
Ja continued: “Sometimes you get in bad situations and wrong partners, as we know, and you gotta reset and do it right with the right people.”
Ever since Fyre Fest, we’ve heard rumblings that master schemer Billy McFarland would be interested in a do-over. He already promised from prison that Fyre was not a “one and done” event from him. Now, we know Ja feels the same way.
