Jay Hardway continues to impress in 2020, this time with a glorious progressive house remix of Codeko’s uplifting single “Bad at Being Alone.” The Dutchman has been putting out a steady string of releases this year showcasing his versatility as a producer. Whether it’s been big rave tunes like “Operation Unicorn” or bright piano house on “Vibes,” you know you’re always going to get a quality production from Jay Hardway.
His latest remix for Codeko is no exception. Whereas the original version of the track is an emotional, sweeping, future-bass leaning song; Jay Hardway transforms it into a pure progressive house jam that is reminiscent of Swedish House Mafia and early Alesso. The remix maintains the uplifting vocals of Codeko’s original while perfectly transforming them into a grand intro for the melodic drop. I would say this remix would be perfect for the festival stage, but for now, play it out over your bluetooth speaker.
