Space Laces Drops First Single of the Year with “Dominate” on Never Say Die [LISTEN]

The song brings energy from start to finish, the Space Laces way

Remember when Space Laces dropped Vaultage 003 two weeks ago and left us craving the demos in full length?

Today, his first single of 2021, “Dominate,” has landed on Never Say Die. The track was a standout as one of energetic bass house selects from the project — and the full-length version builds a journey around the section sampled in the mixtape.

In under four minutes, Space Laces manages to make the song really feel like a voyage. “Dominate” brings energy from start to finish, building from the first beat of the song before unwinding in the final moments of the song.

Along the way, “Dominate” is packed with bouncy house beats, gritty drops and glitchy sound effects. In the last minute of the song, Space Laces flexes his versatility by switching to a slower tempo. It’s in these glorious moments that the bass that carries the song shines through. He closes the track with a cheeky sample, a recurring theme in his songs like “Overdrive” and “Torque.”

Hopefully, there is more Space Laces in store for 2021. But for now, we will be listening to this on repeat.
