Vancouver-based multi-modal artist, producer and DJ Madam Lola unleashed her debut EP Domination Frequency on 27 December 2025.
The seething two track EP is shaped with techno, house and tech house influences while its energy is dark, brooding and hedonistic in nature. The opening track, ‘who’s the master?’ encompasses this hedonistic energy perfectly, as the vocal refrain repeats the words “who’s the master?” in a commanding and assertive manner. The track is a striking culmination of techno, trance and Eastern influences while it holds the unapologetic essence of the EP brilliantly!
The second track is titled ‘Whatever Lola Wants’, which showcases a softer, slightly more restrained side of Madam Lola. This track has a hypnotisingly seductive feel to it, and although the tempo is slightly slower than its predecessor it still packs a mighty punch. The bold, yet understated production forms a powerful foundation for the cheeky lyrics which confidently utter the phrase “whatever Lola wants, Lola gets”. 
Madam Lola is renowned for her DJ sets which breathe life into rooms and span across genres like Afro House, indie dance, techno, downtempo and harder soundscapes. She has shared stages with the likes of Eric Prydz, John Summit and ARTBAT, while she’s also an event promoter and the host of Harem: East Meets West, a spiritual and cultural rave where sexuality and freedom collide.
