German stalwart Oliver Schories has shared another behemoth remix. This time around, he’s put his signature spin on Portland-based artist FENRA’s single ‘CHICAGO’.

The remix dropped today via FENRA’s imprint 6x Records, while the original track featured on FENRA’s Delusional EP which was released in 2025. The remix is an outstanding showcase of Oliver’s wealth of experience and technical prowess. It features a distinct house atmosphere throughout, while still holding the essence of the intricately crafted, footwork-inspired original. Oliver makes use of light, warm and expanding pads, shimmering synths and a bassline that’s driving yet hypnotic. Although the remix was made with the dancefloor in mind, it’s also great for a more personal listening experience as it carries an air of introspection to it too.

Oliver Schories has crafted an impactful career as a producer, DJ, label owner and highly sought-after live act. He has over 140 million streams on Spotify alone, and has collaborated with artists like Jan Blomqvist. Additionally, through his labels Pracht and SOSO, Oliver has supported rising and emerging talent consistently. FENRA is rapidly making his mark within the industry with his boundary-pushing releases. He draws inspiration from a variety of artists such as Bonobo, Four Tet, and Floating Points, which has inspired him to create from a space of freedom and not constraint.

Oliver shared more on the concept behind the remix: “For this remix, I wanted to strip the track back and focus on atmosphere and emotion. The original had a strong energy, so I reinterpreted it as a more restrained, deep house journey that leaves space to breathe and slowly unfold. It’s meant to feel warm, introspective, and timeless.”
