GRAMMY-nominated German duo Cosmic Gate, announced that they are parting ways after 27 years together.
The duo, which is comprised of Claus Terhoeven (Nic Chagall) and Stefan Bossems (DJ Bossi), first joined forces in 1999 after meeting in a Cologne studio. They then became one of trance music’s most revered and influential forces globally.
Yesterday, the pair shared a heartfelt message across their social media platforms stating that Bossi will no longer tour, resulting in him leaving the project entirely. No specific reason was given for Bossi’s departure, however they pointed out that the decision was mutual.
Claus Terhoeven will continue the project solo, ushering in what was described as a “new era” for Cosmic Gate as new music is already in progress. Fans will get their first glimpse of the revamped live show in Manchester and at A State of Trance in Rotterdam this weekend.
