UNTOLD Festival is expanding its community initiatives beyond the dancefloor by offering free breast cancer screenings and HPV testing to women attending this year’s event. Taking place from August 6–9 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, the festival will host a dedicated mobile medical unit near the festival grounds, where attendees can access preventative health services, consultations and guidance from qualified healthcare professionals in partnership with the Renașterea Foundation.
The programme is believed to be the first of its kind at a major European music festival, making essential women’s health services available in an environment that reaches tens of thousands of people. Alongside breast ultrasounds and HPV testing, attendees will have the opportunity to speak privately with medical specialists, helping raise awareness around early detection and preventative care. The initiative also builds on UNTOLD’s wider commitment to social impact, following previous campaigns such as its Blood Network blood donation programme. 
While UNTOLD is best known for its world-class electronic music lineup, the festival has continued to invest in initiatives that extend beyond live entertainment. By bringing preventative healthcare directly to festivalgoers, this year’s edition demonstrates how large-scale music events can use their platforms to support meaningful causes while encouraging greater awareness around women’s health.
