There have been a lot of different reactions to “Starboy” by The Weeknd & Daft Punk, but after his performance at the MTV EMAs last weekend, it should be impossible for anyone to say that it isn’t an incredible live track.
The performance begins under a translucent dome, affixed with a geometric grid and adorned with an amazing projection map of psychedelic colors and images as The Weeknd perfectly hits every note of the song. As the dome lifts and becomes a backdrop, the crowd screams.
