A short video was posted to Twitter on Saturday that revealed a brief audio segment of an upcoming collaboration between Zedd and Canadian singer Alessia Cara, “Stay.” Featuring a infectious vocal loop and some haunting atmospheric tones, the clip is likely taken from the track’s introduction before some sort of build and drop combination takes place.
A release date of February 24 is given for “Stay,” churning up excitement and speculation within the two’s respective fan bases. Whether or not Alessia Cara will share the stage with Zedd during his April ACLU benefit concert is yet to be seen.
Alessia Cara was recently featured on Saturday Night Live and Jimmy Fallon, where she showed off her unmatched vocal prowess and impersonation abilities to a national audience. The video teaser below was taken from a commerical during SNL that revealed the collab.
