The trance project Dash Berlin has just put out the first installment to the We Are album. In it, there are a variety of collaborations from producers John Dahlbäck, Jay Cosmic, and Disfunktion as well as vocalists Colin McLoughlin, Roxanne Emery, Christon Rigby, BullySongs, and Chris Arnott. But one of the big surprise collaborations on the album is the song “Somehow” between Dash Berlin, rising producer/DJ 3LAU, and singer/songwriter Bright Lights.
Listeners will be pleased to press play to this song as they are graced with top-quality progressive house from these three talents. This track maintains trance-like synths that power this song’s atmosphere and compliment Heather Bright’s singing prowess. Expanding their respective sounds, Dash Berlin and 3LAU fuse their production skills to create something unexpectedly genuine. The song “Somehow” is incredibly soothing, overtly enjoyable, and extremely anthemic.
