Deadmau5 Joins Tiesto & Others At Hakkasan, Gets Paid $425,000 Per Show

It’s finally official, after months of rumors, Deadmau5 will leave Wynn’s XS to join Tiesto, Calvin Harris and Steve Aoki at both the MGM Grand’s WET REPUBLIC and the new 5 story Hakkasan. Just recently renovated, costing in the upwards of $100 million, this mega club is set to host a DJ line up as, if not more, impressive than Light, only time will tell of course but with names such as Tiesto and Deadmau5 on the roster, one can only wonder.

What is even more impressive are the contracts for such artists. Deadmau5 will get paid $425,000 per show, that’s right…PER show. Tiesto is slated to make a still impressive $250,000. With such numbers it does seem that those behind Hakkasan truly want to take over the Las Vegas club scene.

Joel Zimmerman had this to say about the move:

“With all the projects I have going on right now, I’m so excited to be back in Vegas doing what I love to do best”
