Pitbull Violates EDM Once Again, Remixes Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’

Armando Pérez aka Pitbull has made a career off of yelling area codes and the occasional Spanish one liners over other producers beats. This year he’s already managed to singlehandedly ruin Funky Vodka by TJR for me and probably the EDM community at large.

However, I just stumbled on what I hope can only be a sick, sick joke by a very twisted individual. If you didn’t already despise Pitbull before get ready to. That’s right ladies and gentlemen I have stumbled on Pitbull‘s remix (if you could even call it that) of Daft Punk‘s Get Lucky. Yep, you read that right.

This shambling travesty of a remix features all of the Pitbull standards, shout-outs to cities, shameless bragging, and the standard “I’m on the way to the top” foolery. While this is unconfirmed to be official, the remix sounds genuine enough to me on laptop speakers. (I’ll wait till I get to sit down and listen on studio monitors or hear official statements before I throw myself off the top of my apartment complex). If you have a strong stomach and aren’t sitting by anything sharp, I’ll leave the song below. Listen at your own risk.

God help us.
