Yesterday at 1PM EST tickets went on sale for one of the world’s premiere electronic music events, Ultra Music Festival. When 1 o’clock hit there were 200,000 people waiting to buy tickets in the online queues, according to Ultra. 4 minutes later, all early bird tickets were gone. Then, due to what Ultra Music Festival is calling “a technical blip with the ticketing servers,” more early bird tickets were put on sale at 4:30 yesterday. Those tickets also sold out in under 5 minutes. Advanced tickets went on sale immediately following which sold out quickly as well. In 2014, Ultra Music Festival promises “A New Level”. That level better be amazing considering GA tickets are now priced at a staggering $399.95 before fees and taxes.
