In what has been by far our most controversial release to date on Monstercat, Melbourne Bounce made it’s debut via Timmy Trumpet and SCNDL. And despite many people saying they things like “i know why it’s called bleed, cause that’s what my ears were doing after listening to it” and “Literally the worst song I’ve ever heard in my life.” Slowly but surely, a lot of people are now slowly saying that they are learning to really like it, myself included. ‘Bleed’ takes the instrument and incorporates it into a bounce song that’s very catchy and playful as it builds up and drops into a simple four on the floor beat accompanied by the trumpet giving the track a light hearted feel. ‘Trumpet’ has opened at #37 on the electro house charts, Monstercat‘s second highest opening to date and it’s easy to see why with a song that grows on you the more you hear it. Let’s hope to see more bounce on Monstercat!
