Almost two weeks ago, I reviewed Dr. Ozi’s latest amazing release via DUSTLA dubbed “Mental Giant,” and it was probably one of the best dubstep tunes i’ve heard all year. Yesterday, not even two weeks later, in collaboration with the record label Audiophile Live, the duo came out with yet another amazing dubstep banger titled “Beat Down,” and this time it’s free! On top of the cleverly sampled classic 80’s kung fu movies, the Canadian duo gave the tune a bit of a “violent” general feel with a constant mid-bass style synth running throughout the tune. With the growling synths and heavy bass, the violent, heavy atmosphere is sustained throughout the entirety of the track. It’s a serious force to be reckoned with. Check it out below.
