We’ve shared edits from Royal in the past, but now we have an original from the DC producer called “Royal’s Theme.” Not a bad title for one of the first originals from this dude. Given the name, it’s nice to hear someone not pigeon hole themselves into providing one genre. Royal has that future sound, but to categorize this single into one thing would be a travesty. It’s one of those times where it’s just good music that anybody can enjoy, even if for the most aggressive of listeners. There’s just something about his productions that just connect with people, with this one being one of the most powerful. In particular, since it’s Friday, if you catch yourself partaking in a smoke circle, this would NOT be a bad tune to play. Not that I am advocating that; if anything, I’m advocating spreading this joint around.
