Axen & Invalyd – Marauder [Basik Rkrds]

Out now via the collaborative imprint between Sony Music and Jon Hanlon, Basik Rkrds, is a joint track from Australian and American electro house producers Axen and Invalyd. The pair are both on the rise as solo producers as DJs, working towards full releases with a number of free downloads and gaining early DJ support.

‘Marauder’ is an explosive piece of electro house that wastes no time building suspense and bringing hugely percussive sequences into play. From a riff-centered intro, the tune becomes more and more urgent, with the energy levels peaking just before the rhythm ebbs away again. With other Aussie producers such as Samual James and HELENA recently releasing on this imprint, it’s clear to see this duo are going to make an impact with ‘Marauder’.
