Calvin Harris Dethrones Avicii To Win AMA’s

David Guetta won in 2012.

Avicii won in 2013.

This year Calvin Harris took the crown, beating out fellow nominees Zedd and Avicii for winner of the Best Electronic Music Artist at the American Music Awards last night.

With his recent album, Motion, topping Billboard dance charts in it’s first week despite early leaks, and a plethora of other accomplishments this year from the storied producer, it seems obvious that he would bring home this prestigious award.
