This Sphere Will Change The Way You Listen To Music

The Scandinavian designers at Studio Total have re-imagined the listening experience with the AudioOrb. Once inside, the design of this transparent plexiglass sphere promises to shut out nearly all outside noise, but it doesn’t stop there. The AudioOrb boasts tempur-pedic pillows to swallow you in comfort while you’re caressed into a bass induced nirvana by an array of 18 hi-fidelity speakers. The minimal design coupled with such a rich and full sound is a futurist’s wet dream.

There’s only a minor catch, the AudioOrb project needs funding. Only five will be made and since contemporary design doesn’t come cheap, they’ll cost $15,000 a piece.
