Vicetone are one of the few mainstage house acts that I can tolerate. Their productions are crisp and refreshing, and their sets don’t reek of that monotony and sameness that plagues so many of Forbes’ top 100 richest DJs. The last track I reviewed for them was a return to Monstercat, and it knocked my socks off.
Their newest release “Angels,” sees a return to Ultra Music and similarly, a more mainstage sound. Still, the skill that is put forth is able to do so much with such a simple horn top line. It’s catchy and imaginative, exactly like the video.
Featuring a group of misbehaving nuns, “Angels” shows exactly how “angels could be bad.” It’s an entertaining watch. Take a look below, and get your own copy of “Angels” here.
