Tacos and Tuesdays, brews and Cinco De Mayo, Kygo and Parson James?
Although the first two pairs have a lengthy history of creating magic, Kygo and Parson James are laying the groundwork for what also seems to be very magical relationship. Their first collaboration, Kygo’s “Stole the Show”, accentuated James’ powerful vocals perfectly and had emotion flooding through the speakers. Their latest collab comes in the form of a live performance in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, with Kygo tickling the ivory while James exhibits a male vocal take of Tove Lo’s “Habits.” Proving their musical chemistry on “Stole the Show” was no fluke, they provide a beautiful cover, effortlessly conveying the original soul of the track while also making it their own. Although they only have one official song under their belt, let’s hope they continue to musically cross paths in the future, because a combo like this would be a terrible thing to waste.
