Enhanced has a knack for finding hidden talent in all the right places. Artists like Cuebrick have emerged from techno-centric Germany, and now the London imprint has found another treasure hiding right outside New York City. New Jersey natives Cameron and Zach are better known as Square Two. They were introduced this week as the newest additions to the Enhanced Music family, with a pair of premieres for “Split” and “Pharoah.”
“Split” is the perfect fit into the Enhanced Progressive catalog; with a piano melody delicately placed under trancey synths, this tune sounds like something along the lines of Roridgo Deem or LTN. Their B-side “Pharaoh” has a darker vibe, but still manages to keep a faint glimmer of hope with a similar piano melody and just a tiny vocal riff before the breakdown. Both tracks compliment each other well, and show a lot of potential for Square Two’s future. You can get both tracks on June 8th.
