No Xcuses head honcho and house power player, EDX, has been a regular on both the Beatport and Hype Machine charts this year. His remix of “Show Me Love” was the first to hit #1 on Hype Machine and has just crossed the 25 million play mark on SoundCloud, while his latest remix of Spada’s “Catchfire [Sun Sun Sun]” followed a similar #1 and is still ascending up the Beatport Top 100. With performances at Electric Zoo, TomorrowWorld, and more venues in the US still to come in 2015, EDX treats his fans with the long-awaited music video for “Breathin’.”
Set at his lake house, the protagonist of the music video seems to have lost his partner in present time, but the nostalgic setting has him remembering past encounters at the house. Evoking a conflict of emotions, this music video manages to pull at the heartstrings without going overboard on the theatrics.
