Felix Cartal – Something To Live For (feat. Nikki Yanofsky)

Currently on a headlining North America tour, Felix Cartal releases “Something To Live For” off of his debut Album Life Online. This will also be Felix’s first Major Label release under Universal Canada/Casablanca.

With vocals by Nikki Yanofsky, the uptempo single bridges online life with IRL situations. This will be evident once the visual releases in the coming weeks. Now technology is great, as it progresses society forward. “There has to be something deep inside everyone that is unique to them, which truly fuels what they are living for. I don’t think many people share this thing online,” Felix explains.

At the end of the day, a lot went into the thought process for “Something To Live For”, all the way down to the art. A collaboration with Kastor & Pollux, the art is a derivative of today’s media leading platforms. Inspiration was also drawn from the early days of the internet, with pixellated iconography, highly-saturated hues, and simple, reduced figures. This all leads down to a reflection of the millennial generations modern condition. If you want to see Felix in NYC this Friday at Cielo, make sure to enter our giveaway here.
