Ultra Music, the label behind releases by some of the biggest names in dance music including Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and Above & Beyond, drop the debut single from an up and coming producer – who will certainly be looking to stake a claim as a talent to keep an eye on.
Blinkie, hailing from South East London, UK, comes in with a slick cut of soulful and vocal driven deep house. ‘Don’t Give Up (On Love)’ is centred around a catchy and infectious vocal hook that will latch onto your ears and not let go for dear life. That’s not to detract from the music though: elegant piano chords share space with tight percussive beats and subtle synths stabs.
