How Krewella Breeds So Much Hate & What It Says About EDM

Krewella has had a whirlwind 2015. Between debuting their live show at Ultra, deadmau5 feuds aplenty, and a resolution of the lawsuit with former Krewella member Kris Trindl, the past year has seen many ups and downs for the sisters.

Thankfully, Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf are able to start off 2016 with a bang, as it was revealed this morning that they were included on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for music.

The list includes other musical visionaries like Fetty Wap, Grimes, Jon Batiste, and Selena Gomez, as well as Krewella’s manager, Jake Udell.

The list also includes DJ Snake, who just barely makes the cut at 29 years old. Snake has been featured on just about every major EDM festival lineup in 2015, as well as co-producing the biggest hit of the year, “Lean On,” with Major Lazer and MØ. DJ Snake will release his debut album this year.
