Canadian DJ and producer extraordinaire known as deadmau5 is back in the studio and we couldn’t be happier. Following a few day hiatus since his last upload, Joel Zimmerman returns with some brand new music and teasers. In the short timespan of a month, we’ve gotten to hear “00002,” “ent_Hope_clk_thme,” “ent_open_Alice_02,” “Carp” and “What a save!” and now we can add “gsadfawe4” and “Gymnopedie No. BORED” to that list of appropriately weirdly named uploads.
“gsadfawe4,” a very Flume-esque track, we speculate that Zimmerman is extending an open invitation for someone to lay vocals over the track, which could end in a dream-come-true collaboration with the mau5 (CC: Grabbitz).
Deadmau5 is also slated to kick off his new bus tour this year, where, as long as plans haven’t changed for the mau5 and his team, he will supposedly take over arenas across North America to showcase the full scale of his mouse cage design. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy some deadmau5 at his very best.
