Within the past month, international-reggae star OMI has released a number of remixed tracks off of his ME 4 U album. Joining the rotation is Kungs’ rendition of “Midnight Serenade” featuring the vocals of Erik Hassle. Coming out of Aix-en-Provence, France, producer Kungs has been busy this past year establishing himself as one of France’s leading deep house figures. The majority of his tracks have garnered over a million streams on his SoundCloud, and he is no stranger when it comes to working his way up the iTunes charts. Kungs remix of “Midnight Serenade” replaces the original’s reggae and pop-driven elements by utilizing bright guitar accents and timid drum patterns, turning the track into a chilled-out, leisurely tune.
