Their debut album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü sold incredibly well, and its lead single “Where R Ü Now” foreshadowed collaborator Justin Bieber‘s massive return. After winning a Grammy and an MTV VMA, the massive hit has been certified triple platinum.
The Recording Industry Association of America, or the RIAA, certified “Where R Ü Now” triple platinum on March 28, 2016. This means that the single has moved over 3 million units, with each unit equaling one paid download or 150 streams. While the news is business as usual for a pop star like Justin Bieber, the triple platinum signals big tides for the EDM industry, especially for two of its leading men.
