Diplo has risen to become one of the most prominent figures in dance music. After producing multiple multi-platinum records, selling out arenas with Skrillex, and taking over pop with Major Lazer, it’s easy to forget the man was once a humble school teacher.

To remind us of Diplo’s roots, Mad Decent just uploaded a video of him in his days before stardom, clad in glorious locks and directing some schoolroom chaos. The entire clip is level 10 nostalgia, and one of his students slays the beat with some PG bars. Check it out.
