Live Nation has just taken a big leap toward a quicker and more efficient system of entering events and festivals by partnering with IdentoGO, the company that assists airport TSA with their Pre-Check enrollment system. By signing up for the service, attendees will be able to bypass lengthy lines simply by showing identification.

The TSA Pre-Check service and Live Nation Fast Pass offshoot utilize the same system, meaning that if you’re already an airport Pre-Check member, your benefits will automatically transfer over to the live show circuit. Signing up for Fast Pass takes around 10 minutes and costs $85 for a five-year period. Live Nation has said that it will also be providing onsite sign-up stations at certain events.

Maureen Ford, Live Nation’s President of Client Sales, said:

“Live Nation is always looking for ways to make the concert-going experience more seamless, and by offering Fast Pass by IdentoGO we can get fans out of line and into the show even faster, which makes this a really organic partnership.

Members will need to show their nine-digit Known Traveler Number alongside a photo ID at events’ Fast Pass gates, allowing them to walk right into the show.

The new service has already been tested at Watershed Festival in Washington, and is planned to resurface at New York’s The Meadows and Las Vegas’ Harvest Country music festivals. Normal concert venues already incorporating Fast Pass lines are located in Dallas, Atlanta and West Palm Beach. If trial runs prove successful, Live Nation is expected to add Fast Pass gates to even more events on their extensive roster.
