Producer Ye. has just released his latest track, this time in the form of a melancholy yet uplifting remix of vocalist Halsey’s “New Americana.” Featuring chopped and thrown vocals and a powerful bass line to set the tone, the flip breathes new life into an original already worthy of praise.
It starts with a soft piano interlude and environmental rain drops before the soaring vocals take over the track’s focus above growling bass tones. Heavy percussion strikes eventually dominate the rhythm while sharp arpeggios and wide future bass sweeps represent the melody.
