I sang the praises of another Goldroom remix for “Lying To You” awhile ago and also extolled the virtues of the album over my personal social media, but it’s this finally released remix by Robotaki that has me truly in awe. It’s probably not all that surprising that Robotaki is such a gifted producer, he’s on the Shelter Live Tour for a reason let’s be real, but it seems like he’s truly hit another gear with this remix.
The remix starts off nice and slow as we’re lured in by Goldroom’s soothing vocals and as we head towards the drop the track comes to life with lush layers of synths and crystal-clear sound design across the board. Shout out to my personal favorite element in the song as well – a slick drumroll in the breakdowns!
