At one point, everyone was convinced Diplo would be making an impromptu Super Bowl appearance. However, that rumor quickly evaporated after the Major Lazer frontman announced he would be playing a pre-Super Bowl party at the Rolling Stone Live: Houston event at the city’s Museum of Fine Arts.
As it happened, the party got squashed around 2 a.m. which, to be fair, was the scheduled time for the festivities to end. TMZ reports that those appearing to be police offers in the clip are actually contracted security guards simply enforcing the end time. All in all, no one seemed too bummed about the show getting shut down.
