As more and more YouTube curators get into the label-running game, there’s been a huge increase in quality tunes A&R’d by some of the most forward-thinking minds in dance music today. CloudKid has established himself as a household YouTube name, having just crossed the staggering 1 million subscriber threshold and crossed over into the label space with only his second release ever.

“Imagine” features the works of two producers who have been lowkey killing it through 2016, Popeska and Bronze Whale. Moody yet bright, Tom Aspaul’s vocals clash with the soundscape to create a wonderfully vibrant song with layers upon layers of carefully constructed sound. Best of all? The producers manage to actually pull off vocal chops perfectly – a huge pet peeve of mine – coming as a strong indication of the experience and talent of both producers.
