After dropping just two singles, Ed Sheeran had already created enough hype for his new album Divide. “Shape Of You” shot up the charts and “Castle On The Hill” provided a nice contrast to demonstrate just how much variety you might find on the album.
With 16 tracks on the deluxe version, there’s plenty to absorb. Sheeran called this album his seminal work in an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, and we’d be inclined to agree. Between the spoken word opening track “Eraser” to the final track (non-deluxe) “Supermarket Flowers,” which is absolutely beautiful, Sheeran fans are going to be very pleased with this work.
The deluxe version includes four extra tracks, from the folksy, uptempo “Bibia Be Ye Ye” to the intense ballad “Save Myself.”
