Camila Cabello Shares What It Was Really Like Working With Diplo

Camila Cabello is an unstoppable force in pop music, but she didn’t always have the confidence as an artist she has today — especially working with big time names like Diplo!

In a recent sit down with MTV UK, the “Havana” singer talked about the very first time she worked with one of EDM’s most in-demand producers:

“The first time that we [Camila and Diplo] had a writing session together I was so nervous that I got acid reflux,” she said. “Emotionally, I don’t know why, I’m just a very visceral person. I can just feel it in my body so it was just like that for the first few months.”

You can hardly hear her nerves in the track with Major Lazer, “Know No Better” also featuring Travis Scott and Quavo. The song premiered just in time to be a summer anthem, along with the rest of the electronic group’s Know No Better EP.

Diplo once told Billboard Dance, “We made like 20 songs with Camila Cabello. We love her.”

Let’s hope more of their tracks together come to light!
